Mindfulness for Life

an 8 week course to help you establish the foundations of a habit in Mindfulness.

In a relaxed and friendly environment, you will learn tools and techniques that you can so easily incorporate into your life.  Every day. The tools and techniques will help you to better deal with the challenges and demands of every day life.  The course follows the format of the well publicised Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, but through Oxford Mindfulness Centre (a leader of Mindfulness interventions in the UK), it is adapted to make it suitable for all - hence Mindfulness for Life.

With a different theme each week, this course will teach you key concepts of Mindfulness Practice, with practical application throughout.  As the course is progressive in nature it is important that you are able to commit to the full 8 weeks course. 

The idea is for you to start to develop a Mindfulness habit and as such, you'll be asked to complete home practice 6 days out of 7 between each session.  ​Of course, this is not compulsory but you'll get the most out of the course if you try to complete the home practice.

Current Courses

The 8 week course will run generally on weekday evenings.  Each session can vary in length dependent on the size of the class and the level of discussion.  Generally these will be between around 90 minutes and 2 hours.
